Voice Master Instructions (Continued, PG3)

Notify: (Optional).

It is if VoiceMaster notifies you about a new message. "I have a message for John Doe, please ask him/her to come to the telephone."

Menus:

Your menu announcement. This is your Main Menu Announcement and a series of announcements that your callers can hear, or options for recording if they make the choices you give them.

To Record Your Menu Announcements:

From the Main Menu, press 9 for the Options Menu, then 3 for the Announcements Menu. Once you have recorded your announcements, you can re-record any one or more of them at any time. We will explain below how to go directly to any announcement that you want to review or re-record without having to play them all. On your initial recording, simply step through them one at a time.

Continue to press 3 until you reach the menu announcement. "Your Main Announcement " . . . Press 1 to hear your announcement, 2 to record it, 3 to go to the next announcement, 4 to go directly to another announcement, 5 to delete the announcement or pound to exit.

Press the 2 key to record your Main Announcement. Press 1 to stop and listen.

Continue pressing 2 to record, then 1 to stop and listen until you get it right. Then press the 3 key for the next announcement to be recorded (or listened to).

VoiceMaster will announce the number of your next menu announcement. The numbers correspond to the keys that your callers will press to get to that announcement. The first menu announcement is usually number 1, and if there are choices that your callers can make after pressing 1 , then announcements that go with those choices will be next. For example, announcements 11 and 12 will be recorded before 2. You will be given a list of your announcements by number after a menu is installed. 11 and 12 are the first two announcements available to the caller after they press the 1 key from the main menu.

Each time you press the 3 key, a new announcement will be given until you run out of announcements. To skip an announcement, simply press the 3 key again, or press # to quit. To record or re-record the announcement, press the 2 key, and when you are at the end of the recording, press 1 to play it back, then 2 to re-record.

How To Skip To A Particular Announcement:

Get to the "Announcements Menu" from the main menu by pressing 9, then 3. Then press the 4 key, which allows you to choose the announcement number. Then enter the announcement number you desire. For example, if you want to go to announcement 23, enter 23 or 23# ( the # key speeds things up a little).
